“It never happened,” says Marcelo Adnet’s wife about the cheating rumors

During the podcast, Patricia clarified the beginning of her relationship with the comedian

The comedian’s wife Marcelo AdnetPatricia, has cleared up the rumors and allegations of cheating surrounding the start of the couple’s relationship. During the “POD, man”presented by Gabriela Duarte and Renata Castro, told the unusual way in which the two met.

In the excerpt published exclusively by the celebrity news portal Ugo GlossPatricia explains that the relationship only started after Marcelo and Dani Calabresa broke up.

“It’s very unusual. A lot of people think we met because of cheating or something like that, but that never happened and that’s what matters,” he explained.

According to her, the two met through a dating app and, for a long time, she felt embarrassed to admit it. “Sometimes I’m very ashamed to speak. I just met the person and I say it was through an app and the person said, ‘Hello? There is? What do you mean?’” he says.

“For a long time I said through friends because it’s more elegant, right? Saying it was through an app seems a bit promiscuous to me, I don’t know, a human menu,” explained Patrícia.

Patrícia says his first profile photo on the platform was a Pernambuco flag, which led her to doubt whether it was really Marcelo. “The second photo, yes, it was his face. I was at home with a friend when I had a super game. I looked and thought, ‘Another fake. Damn, I’m really sick.’”

The certainty came only after the two started talking. It was in Rio Grande do Sul, near where she lived. Patrícia reveals that on the first date she wore slippers and pajamas and that it was “wonderful”. “I thought, ‘If he likes it, he’ll fall in love anyway,’” she says.

“As the elevator went up, I thought for a second, ‘Am I not doing something stupid?’, then I started shaking, the whole thing. (…) Then I thought, if the elevator had opened and it wasn’t him, there would have been time to close the door (…) So I remained there, with only half the door open, watching . Then he came out, the little face appeared, I said, “Thank God.” Himself. Phew, we’re past that stage. He’s not a thief or anything like that.’ And then everything worked,” he specifies.

The two had no idea it would evolve into something more serious. She was leaving an abusive relationship and to this day sees the situation as something unusual.
