Last June, TF1 aired the first season of Will Trent, which follows Will Trent (Ramon Rodriguez), a special agent who was abandoned at birth and endured a difficult childhood in the foster care system.
Today, he puts his unique gift at the service of justice and considers it a badge of honor that no one feels as abandoned as he does.
Grey’s Anatomy Cast Casting
A real hit with audiences in the United States, the series, whose 2nd season has already aired on ABC, has been renewed for a 3rd season. And the list of famous guests continues to grow. A few months ago, ABC actually announced that Jane the Virgin star Gina Rodriguez would join the casting for the charismatic assistant prosecutor who will have to work with the hero, much to his dismay.
The actor won’t be the only one joining Will Trent’s ranks. TVLine Indeed announced that Scott Foley will be joining the series as a recurring character. The actor’s face is probably not familiar to you.
He notably starred in Felicity, Scandal, and seasons 7 and 8 of Grey’s Anatomy, a series in which he played Henry Burton, Ted’s husband, who would unfortunately come to a tragic end.
According to our colleagues at TVLine, Scott Foley will play Dr. Seth McDale, described as “The confident, pragmatic head of the emergency department at the local hospital and Angie’s potential new boyfriend“.
Angie’s new boyfriend
Thus, this arrival dashes fans’ hopes that the character played by Erika Christensen and Will Trent will get back together. They’ve actually been in a relationship a few times in the past, but given their many injuries, they’ve always struggled to have a healthy relationship.
If at the end of season 1 they ended their relationship once and for all, the kiss exchanged in episode 7 of season 2 came to review the cards. However, their relationship was strained in the finale when Will had Angie arrested for tampering with evidence in the Lenny Broussard case.
Is it really over between them? Answer in Season 3 of Will Trent, which airs January 7 on ABC. In the meantime, you can watch the first two seasons on Disney+ now.
