Fans collide as Marvel’s Sebastian Stan wishes Gossip Girl (and The Boys Star) girlfriend Chace Crawford happy birthday

If there’s one thing superhero fans love, it’s a good crossover. Honestly, there’s nothing like watching your favorite characters meet and cut each other across the screen. But probably even more fun is watching the actors interact off camera, and Sebastian Stan has just started an awesome fandom mash-up. The Marvel veteran took to social media to wish him his Gossip Girl co-star, Chace Crawfordd (who is also in The boys), A happy birthday. And as expected, the post is sweet.

Fans likely still have vivid memories of seeing Sebastian Stan and Chace Crawford as Carter Baizen and Nate Archibald, respectively, in the hit CW drama. While their two characters had a rivalry, there seems to be nothing but love among the stars. It’s wonderful to see that the two have remained friends over the years since their time on the show. Such a sweet message is surely enough to unite Marvel fans, The boys Yes Gossip Girl. (And to be honest, now I’m wondering what a three-way cross between these three properties would look like.)

It’s hard to say what such a reunion would be like, but if played right, it could be a superhero scene for the story.

Of course you can also sprinkle a little Gossip Girl even on stage. While there’s no explicit link or reference to the franchise, a meta moment where the two super-powered characters claim they look familiar could be fun. Yes, I know the chances of this combination happening are slim, but fans like me can at least dream, right?
