Star Wars: These two iconic stars of the saga had to wait 37 years to meet in real life!

Two Star Wars mainstays who have to wait until 2014 to meet in the flesh? It is possible! The late Carrie Fisher and James Earl Jones never met on the set of the Saga movie, and for good reason: the latter was always far away in the sound booth to lend her voice to the iconic Darth Vader. (Physically played by David Prowse). So they had to wait many years to finally get a chance to see each other in real life!

The first “real” meeting on the screen Carrie FisherPrincess Leia’s legendary interpreter and James Earl JonesOccurred in 2014, in episode 14 of the seventh season of The Big Bang Theory, titled The Sheldon Agreement. Frustrated that they didn’t have tickets to San Diego Comic-Con, a bunch of geeks imagine which stars of the Star Wars saga they’d invite if they held their own convention.

Then Sheldon will have a chance to meet James Earl JonesThe voice of Darth Vader, who he befriends, especially sharing a karaoke session and a moment in the sauna! A little later in the episode, Star Wars fans cheer: James Earl Jones Brings Sheldon forward Carrie Fisher. He rings the doorbell and then leaves. Fisher comes out of the house in a rage, baseball bat in hand, yelling: “It’s not funny anymore, James!”

“This tiny scene was a way for us to finally give each other a real voice”James Earl Jones said on the IGN site microphone. A very funny moment (and definitely a bit moving) to discover in the player below.

For information, when two Hollywood stars saw each other for the first time behind the scenes of the TV series The big bang theory, Carrie Fisher (who scored 27 on the star of the intergalactic saga) exclaimed “Father!” As for the fact that Princess Leia is Darth Vader’s daughter, I won’t tell you anything.

The trailer for Star Wars “Skeleton Crew” is available on Disney+ starting December 4:
