The property belonged to banker Joseph Safra, who passed away in 2020, and is currently registered in the name of his widow and heir, Vicky Safra. Vicky is considered the richest woman in Brazil.
The building inspired by the Palace of Versailles, France, has five floors, nine elevators, 130 rooms, an Olympic-sized swimming pool and a helipad.
