“Because the character I no longer write sad for is Wisteria Lane. It was the funnest pitch in the history of television because we had the whole street to ourselves. I know this street so well.”

“When someone advertises on this street, I recognize it immediately, because I know all the houses, I know the geography. It was such a fun place to write. And there are times when I’m like, “You know what? I wonder if I could have written Wisteria Lane in 1966?.”

The designer confided that he wants a piece of itGo back and start over“, thanks to the wisdom acquired over time. “I feel that if I ever have the opportunity to do this series again, I would be better at my job. I learned so much.”

However, Mark Cherry doesn’t want to reboot just for the success of Desperate Housewives. He will start the project only if he has something to say. If the project were to see the light of day, it wouldn’t be the first time Mark Cherry delved into his past.
