From basketball courts to the world of fashion. This is exactly what happened to the player Emanuel Quoos, who participated in the national sports team of Rio Grande do Sul. Today he is the new global face of Ray-Ban.
The young man, born in Cachoeira do Sul, is 23 years old and has just been elected the new face of the powerful eyewear brand, protagonist of an international campaign. Filmed in Milan, the launch circulated on the streets of Europe and in international magazines in the sector.
Emanuel, revealed in 2019 when he was seen on social media, was a professional basketball player. “I started playing basketball when I was 10 years old, in a project in my hometown, Cachoeira do Sul. At 14, I competed in the Gaucho championship for the first time,” he recalled.

The international supermodel played for Rio Grande do Sul teams such as Flyboys, Caxias Basquete and CEAT Bira, joined the Rio Grande do Sul national team and became champion of this sport of southern Brazil.
“Then fashion arrived and I decided to pursue a career as a model,” he says. Away from photoshoots and catwalks, the boy enjoys playing guitar, drums and percussion instruments, as well as DJing in his spare time.
On social media, his first published modeling job was the runway show for the brand À La Garçonne, in March 2020. Managed by Way Model, the same agency as Carol Trentini and Alessandra Ambrósio, Emanuel has already modeled for several other brands in Brazil, such as João Pimenta, Forca Studio, Dendezeiro, The Paradise and Misci.
