The car of model Luciana Curtis, victim of a kidnapping in SP, is found charred

The model, her husband and daughter were held captive in the north until rescued

The luxury SUV of the model Luciana Curtisworth R$ 200 thousand, was found charred in Vila Penteado, north of Sao Paulo, this Friday 29. The vehicle had been taken by criminals during the flash kidnapping suffered by the model, her husband Henrique Gendre and her 14-year-old daughter Cora, on the night of Wednesday 28th.

According to the Secretariat of Public Security of São Paulo (SSP), an expert opinion was requested to confirm whether the car was actually the same one used in the crime.

The location of the car, near the Brasilândia neighborhood, coincides with the region where the family was held prisoner. Luciana and her family were approached by criminals as they left a restaurant in Alto da Lapa, west area, and taken at gunpoint to the north area.

During the period of captivity, the kidnappers forced the family to make bank transfers. About 12 hours later, on the morning of Thursday the 28th, Luciana, Henrique and Cora were released and managed to ask municipal officials for help.

Meanwhile, Dahlia, the couple’s youngest daughter, who was at home, noticed that her parents and sister were missing. He contacted an uncle, who contacted the Civil Police. Tracing the cell phones of one of the victims led officers to his captivity, but the place was already empty when the team arrived.

So far no suspects have been identified or arrested. The Anti-Kidnapping Division of the Civil Police is investigating the case.
