Shooting of the dramatic thriller “Elephant” has begun in the capital. According to the plot, the main character of the film, Sergei, is in a hurry from Voronezh to Moscow to visit his son in the hospital. The main thing for him is to be in time for the clinic with the money for the operation, because the bill is for minutes. The role of Sergei will be played by Pavel Priluchny, who allegedly remarried in May – actress Zepyur Brutyan became his “chosen one”. Although many suspect the couple of a PR romance in order to draw attention to new projects.
This is a very interesting and unexpected story for me, – says Priluchny. – Most of the time there will be only one actor on the screen. This is an experiment, and I would even say that this is a challenge for me.
Director Garik Petrosyan initially shot a short film based on a similar story, in which the producers saw the potential for a large feature film.
As my parents said: “Everything starts small!” – says Garik Petrosyan. – I could not even imagine that my short film, which was being prepared for the final exam, would turn into a full meter. I thought the pleasant surprises were over! But then Pavel Priluchny, after reading the script, said: “I want to play this role!” That’s when I realized – there will be a cool movie with a cool actor!
The release of the film is scheduled for the end of 2022.
