Series that will debut in August to keep an eye on 👀

Day 03 – Good morning, Veronica: Season 2 – Brazilian series based on a book written by Ilana Casoy and Raphael Montes (under the pseudonym of Andrea Killmore), Good morning Veronica debuted on the platform in 2020. Imaginary, but with a real and very strong theme at the center of its narrative, violence against women, the production was a great success for streaming.

This season, clerk Veronica, now a woman transformed by the events of the first season, finds herself embroiled in a dangerous new investigation. A sexual predator is in her sights, leading her to discover a couple who hides terrible secrets, as well as an absurd corruption scheme.

With its premiere scheduled for 3, the new season of the series counts in the cast with Tainá Muller, Reynaldo Gianeccini and Klara Castanho.

Day 05 – Sandman – One of the most anticipated titles of 2022 on Netflix, sand man is based on the famous and award-winning comic of the same name by Neil Gaiman. Consisting of 11 episodes, the first season of the series was generated hum since it was announced in 2019 by the platform.

Starring Morpheus, the god of dreams, the production tells the story of when the character escapes from the prison he was in for a century and discovers that his world is very different from the one he knew. So determined to restore the balance of former times and regain his powers, he embarks on a quest that travels across different worlds and timelines.

Bringing classic comic book characters to the small screen, the show has it all to be one of the highlights of the second half.

Day 24 – Queer Eye: Brazil – After Netflix released a reboot of the famous American series Weird eye for the straight guy and achieving resounding success, the new version of the reality show has spread around the world. Brazil has joined the bandwagon, and although in some countries the program has now just called strange eyealso presented by the protagonists of the new American version, here it will be different.

Starting from the same premise as the United States, the series will have five men who are experts in different fields, who will guide someone who needs help in different aspects of their life. In our country, on the other hand, another quintet of presenters will take care of the production. They are: Fred Nicácio (wellness), Guto Requena (design), Rica Benozzati (style), Luca Scarpelli (culture) and Yohan Nicolas (beauty).

In particular, I am curious about the program and the crowd so that the mood, emotion and charisma that are the trademarks of the overseas reality show are also present here.

In the story, a man wakes up in the middle of a pandemic, with no recollection of his past. Furthermore, a device installed in his head warns him that he has a lethal bomb in his mouth and must follow the orders given to him if he is to save his life. Pursued by the CIA, he then follows the guidelines, becoming more and more involved in a dangerous rescue mission.
