Inter calmly beat Parma 3-1 at San Siro, Milan, and move closer to leaders Napoli in the Italian Serie A standings.
In the initial phase, after several attempts, the Nerazzurri opened the scoring with Federico Dimarco, who activated his ex’s law by finding the net for his former club.
Inter’s goal opened the doors for Parma, who in the second half needed Nicolò Barella and Marcus Thuram less than 15 minutes to take the lead.
At the end of the match the yellow-blues were helped by an own goal from Matteo Darmian, but the reaction of Fabio Pecchia’s men stopped there.
Inter, who have suffered just one defeat in 14 games, are in third place, with 31 points, just one behind Napoli.
Parma, in turn, is 12th, with 15, and could be relegated in the standings depending on the other matches in the group. .
