We lost him for almost twenty years. Starting November 18, Ali Larter appears in the credits of Landman, a series created by Taylor Sheridan (Yellowstone). In this program dominated by male roles, the American actress lends her qualities to Angela Norris, the ex-wife of the main character Tommy Norris (Billy Bob Thornton).
A heroine among heroes
His role in this new series marks a real return to the fore, nearly twenty years after his first big hit on television. In 2006, Ali Larter was cast in the TV series Heroes, in which she played Nikki Sanders. His character had a power that gave him an evil dual personality with superhuman strength.
Heroes is a series featuring characters with superpowers. Some choose to use their talents for the benefit of humanity, while others choose to use them for their own interests. Four seasons and 91 episodes ran between 2006 and 2010, plus a mini-series called Heroes Reborn (2015).
Heroes was without a doubt one of the most prominent simulcast series of the early 2000s, with the superhero series being particularly successful for the following seasons.
More Ali Larter in the next episodes of Landman?
In the two decades between Heroes and Landman, Ali Larter has not been idle. In the movies, the American actress notably appeared in several installments of the Resident Evil saga, playing the role of Claire Redfield. On television, he appeared in the excellent series Pitch (cancelled in the first season due to lack of audience) and then in the second season of The Rookie.
In Landman, Ali Larter is given a fairly secondary role. So we can only hope that, like Demi Moore’s confidant, which show creator Taylor Sheridan has promised to develop in future episodes, the latter also adds more depth to Angela Norris’s episode.
The Landman series can be seen every week exclusively on Paramount+, which is also offered as part of a Canal+ subscription.
