THE Disney is preparing a live-action remake of Tangled (Tangled)an animation released in 2010 that tells the story of princess Rapunzel. According to information published by magazines Deadlineand Varietythis Wednesday (11), Michael Graceyknown for directing The Greatest Showman (The Greatest Showman)is in negotiations to direct the film.
The script will be signed by Jennifer Kaytin Robinsonwho worked on Thor: Love and Thunder. While Disney has yet to officially confirm the project, expectations are high for the adaptation of one of the studio’s most popular films.
The success of Tangled
The animated version of Tangled was nominated for an Oscar for Best Original Song for “I See the Light”, which has become one of Disney’s most iconic themes.
Released in November 2010, Tangled grossed more than US$590 million at the global box office and won a legion of fans by reimagining the classic tale of Rapunzel.
What to expect from live-action?
