The police establish a connection between Michael and Fred

At the hospital, Kristel arranged so that the social services would not take the novel away immediately. So Victoire put him in the sitting room, all he needed to sleep and keep busy.

At the police station, Georges gets a copy of Lorena Lecomte’s investigative file and thus discovers that Michael was working for her at the time.
