Death of Rebecca Balding, Phoebe’s boss in Charmed

Born in Arkansas, Rebecca Balding made her television debut in the latter half of the 1970s, notably appearing in Starsky and Hutch, before starring in two horror films, The Silence That Kills (1979) and The Boogens. (1981).

Then it plays guests On the small screen for nearly two decades, from The Fall to MacGyver, 7 at Home or Beverly Hills or Melrose Place. It is her role in the fantasy series Charmed that made her famous in 2002.

From Season 4 to Season 8, she plays Alice Rothman, an editor-in-chief. Bay mirror, the newspaper that Phoebe Halliwell’s character works for. He is difficult in business, but he is kind to Phoebe, to the point that he considers her a member of the family.

Quite rare, Balding has already appeared in the series, but to play a different character! She was indeed Jack, aunt of Aviva, a teenager gifted with magical powers in Episode Four Sister (S01E07).
