Film premieres in Brazil in 2025, but no date has yet been set
The terror The Bag Manstarring Sam Claflin (Daisy Jones & the Six), got the first subtitled trailer. The film, directed by Colm McCarthy (She Who Brings Gifts), promises a frightening plot that explores deep fears and childhood traumas.
The story follows Patrick McKee (Claflin), a family man marked by emotional scars left by an evil creature that haunted him as a child, known as the “Bag Man” – a mythical figure who kidnaps children. When this tormentor from his childhood returns, Patrick must face his greatest fears to save himself, his wife, Karina (Antonia Thomas), and her son, Jake (Caréll Vincent Rhoden).
Scheduled for release on September 20th in North American cinemas, Bagman – original title – does not yet have a confirmed release date in Brazil.
The cast also includes William Hope (Eric), Steven Cree (Outlander), Frankie Corio (Aftersun) and Carell Vincent Rhoden (My Husband’s Baby). The script was written by John Hulmedirected by Colm McCarthy.
