The former Corinthians player pays his pending pension and is released again


The attacker gave a statement and paid the debt to be released.




As reported on Wednesday evening, the 18th, the attacker Jô was arrested again for failing to pay child support in the municipality of Contagem, located in the metropolitan region of Minas Gerais. The arrest occurred shortly after the player had participated in a national team training session Itabirito Futebol Clubeteam where he started defending since September.

The liberation, however, was not long in coming. Especially because, on the same night, the attacker made a statement and paid the amount due.

This was the second time the player was arrested for failure to pay child support this year. The first dates back to May, when the former Corinthians player was taken to the Campinas police station, before the match between Ponte Preta and Amazonas, his former team, in a match valid for the Serie B of the Brazilian championship.
