He’s back on France 2! On Monday, December 23, 2024 at 9:10 p.m., Zorro returns as Jean Dujardin in this newly titled series directed by Benjamin Charbit and Noé Debré. Here, our masked hero loses his luster as he experiences an existential crisis…
Jean Dujardin under the black mask
A mockery of his family, he is nevertheless forced to don the black robes again in the face of force majeure after his retirement…Sympathetic and aesthetic, this family fiction will delight fans of the Oscar-winning actor who adore him. The joy of all hearts on the screen!
Although we can regret the rather classic structure of the episodes, we are delighted by the new tricks of the vigilante (the stunts were mostly performed by Jean Dujardin). Other than that, the action scenes are great, the costumes are great, and the sets are great.
Where was the series “Zoro” filmed?
By the way, where was Zoro filmed? Benjamin Charbit, co-creator, revealed to AlloCiné one of the secrets behind the production of this ambitious project: “We shot all the scenes in Toledo, Spain, on locations and haciendas we discovered.“
“At first I wanted everything to be done on real locations. I even wanted to shoot the exterior of the city of Los Angeles in the medieval villages of Spain! But since we didn’t really find it, we recreated what we were interested in while scouting in Almeria, in the south of the country.“
“Our design director really did a colossal job of recreating Little Los Angeles… In short, everything was made in Spain. We also shot some scenes in the studio. This shooting lasted five months.” For fabulous results on our screens!
Zorro Season 1 with Jean Dujardin begins broadcasting this Monday, December 23, 2024 at 9:10pm on France 2.
