Thibault tries to kidnap Romane

At the police station, Timothy informs Michael that according to his research, Thibault Rossetti and Jade Donovan work in the same department at the chocolate factory. So they met each other every day. Additionally, Thibaut appears to have no connection to Lorena Lecomte, and her alibi has been confirmed. He was stuck in traffic at the time of Jade’s murder. Still, the fact that Thibault stole the spy camera suggests that he is somehow involved in Jade’s murder.

Timothée adds that Thibault’s phone has been stuck in Paris for two weeks, suggesting he left it there before arriving on set. Timothy noticed that a different number called his voicemail every day. Michael instructs him to limit that number. Timothy discovers that the telephone terminal is located in a hotel located on the beach.

Karim and Nordin immediately go there. There is no one in the room. The police found the phone during the search. Meanwhile, Thibault gets behind the wheel of his car in front of the hotel. Seeing the police team outside, he changed his direction and took another route.

He goes to the villa where he observes Victoire. She decides to make a Christmas cake with Roman for Christmas. She asks the little girl to get ready to go shopping.

At the police station, Timothée shows Georges the hospital CCTV footage, where we see Thibaut Rossette walk onto the floor where Freddy is in the hospital. The pictures are from last Thursday. Georges suggests that Thibaut was informed that Freddy was still alive and that he had come to finish him off. He then realizes that Roman has caught him in the act. After asking his colleague to arrange a police escort around Freddy, Georges calls Victoire.

In a hurry to go shopping, the latter will not take. He drives Romané to the docks, unaware that Thibault is following them. After getting out of the car, Romane realizes that he forgot his scarf inside.

Victoire asks her to wait for him while he goes to get her. He finds a panda-shaped backpack in the back seat and discovers that a microphone is hidden in one of the ears. At the same time, she receives a call from Georges, who warns her of the danger facing Romane.

Looking up, Victoire realizes that Thibaut is taking the little girl behind the car to kidnap her. Victoire runs to the car and manages to open the door to get Romane out before Thibault leaves…

Chloe supports her mother

At the hospital, Rafael goes to see Sebastian. This person doesn’t look like he spent a month in a coma. He remembers hearing a soft voice telling him to wake up and thinks he was dreaming. Rafael tells her that Marian gave them permission to spend New Years with her in her room.

Meanwhile, Chloe and Diego set the New Year’s table. Knowing that this moment will be special for her mother due to the loss of Reno, but also for Michael and Albany for the children, Chloe decided to make a South American inspired dish.

After everything is ready, Chloe receives a text from her mother, who tells her that she does not have the heart to come to New Year’s Eve, and specifies that she will not change her mind. Not Mariana for the New Year, the New Year comes with her! Indeed, Chloe surprises her mother by finding her at the Christmas market with Alex, Diego, Celeste and the Ferres. Distraught Mariana thanks her daughter.
