Solal sinks into lies
Stephen, happy to be with his children at Christmas, gives them gifts. Seeing her giving Ines a tutu, Lionel reminds her that she’s not dancing anymore since he didn’t sign her. He blames her for showing up like a flower after four months with no news. Stephen explains that he didn’t dare come for Christmas even though he wanted to because he was afraid his children would be too angry with him. He refuses to open the gift, Lionel rushes into the kitchen.
Meanwhile, Solal arranges for Stephen and Gary to meet on the grounds of the institute to agree on their lie. All three agree to continue to make Zoe believe that Gary came up with the idea to bring Stefan.
So Solal and Gary arrive late in the kitchen, where Teissier is supervising the work of the Christmas brigade. He puts pressure on them. Overjoyed that her father is present for the holidays, Zoe doesn’t mind Tacy’s order call at all. She is not stressed at all and thanks Gary for his beautiful gift.
In turn, Maya suspects that Solal lied to Zoe about Stefan’s presence. The young man confirms this, but wants to keep it a secret. The most important thing for him is Zoe’s happiness. Maya points out that the latter will eventually learn the truth and may be upset.
A little later, Stephen goes into the kitchen to wish his children Christmas dinner. Zoe went to the commissary, and Lionel prepares the last meal. He then vents his anger against his father and accuses him of abandoning them. He recalls that they ended up on the street. Lionel adds that he should never have come back because he is much better off without her.
At the end of the luncheon, Teissier invites the brigade to come out to the applause of the guests. Solal is concerned about Zoe and Gary’s absence. Maya informs them that they both stayed behind to clean the kitchen. A tired Solal decides to go home while Mehdi presents her Yule magazine.
Clotilde takes Teyssier aside and wants to prove that he can have fun. He makes her a bet that he can throw the New Year’s Eve party of the century at the Institute.
Solal, on the other hand, returns to her room at the boarding house, where she finds herself in bed with Zoe and Gary. The annoyed young man prefers to leave the room to them and leave…
Constance will take matters into her own hands
At the Institute, Teissier thanks Constance for her support by coming to the Institute Christmas. Finally, Berenitz decided to come too, because he probably wouldn’t meet Carla there. Indeed, the latter agreed to eat with Angel and Colin. Constance is disappointed: she knows Rose won’t come if Carla isn’t there.
Constance then takes matters into her own hands. He summons Carla, Rose, and Angela into her husband’s office as if they were him to put them on the spot. He refuses the right to boycott the institute’s Christmas celebration and asks for an effort.
Later, the first guests arrive at the park of the institute, where the buffet and tables are laid out. Teissier begins a short speech. Koline on duty is excited to see her mother. Rose and Carla are there too. After that, Berenia tries to stay with her sister despite her ex.
After lunch, Angeli returns Rose’s grandmother’s ring, which she found in Rafael’s belongings. Rose is touched because she thought she lost it. Angel explains that this ring is a symbol of her forgiveness.
Seeing that things have calmed down between Rose and Angel, Berenia confesses to Constance that she wants to try to forgive Carla.
The festivities are over. Teissier thanks everyone, then dedicates this Christmas to Constance, who helped him break free from tradition. She thanks him for being by her side despite her children’s absence. Constance then speaks to remind everyone that Christmas is a friendly holiday that allows us to reunite with our chosen family.
Sabre can count on Olivia and Claire
Sabry wears the institute’s Christmas outfit. Olivia and Claire cheer him on for the event, then give him a gift his parents sent him. Sabre discovers that it is a video game. Furious, she texts her father to reiterate that she now wants to devote herself to cooking and nothing will change her mind.
During the service, Sabris is stopped by Gaspard, who asks her to give him a few trays of Christmas appetizers. In fact, Malo explains that he can’t go to lunch with the others because he doesn’t like it when there are too many people. By understanding, Sabri gives them two drawers.
Later, Olivia and Claire find Saber in the hallway to toast him. The young man admits that he was disappointed that his parents did not come for Christmas. He hoped they would change their minds at the last minute. Anyway, Sabre’s feeling really good with Olivia and Claire, who reciprocate.
