Last year Prime Video was a hit with Against the Sense (Culpa mía in its original version), a sensual Spanish romance with drama and action somewhere between The Fast and the Furious and The Next.
The feature film gained subscribers to the point of becoming the biggest success in the platform’s history for a local original film in a non-English language. It ranked among the top 10 most watched titles in more than 190 countries, including the United States, United Kingdom, Australia, India, Argentina and France.
Its success led to a sequel, Against Sens 2 (the original version of Culpa Tuya), which you can find all about here.
When and where is it released?
The film Against the Sense 2, directed and written by Domingo Gonzalez in collaboration with Sofia Cuenca, is available on December 27 on Prime Video, a year and a half after the first part of the franchise.

In this second film, Noah and Nick’s love seems unshakable despite their parents’ attempts to separate them. But Nick’s job and Noah’s entry into college open up their lives to new relationships.

The message I want to send to the fans with this movie is that sometimes your way and the way you want to live and deal with Matters, the relationship you want with yourself and others is one-sided.

The two main actors, Nicole Wallace (Skam España, Ni una más) and Gabriel Guevara (Mañana es hoy, Ni una más), have apparently returned to their roles as Noah and Nick.
They find Marta Hazas and Ivan Sánchez as Rafaela and William, their parents, as well as Victor Varona, who plays Leo, and Eva Ruiz, who plays Jenna.
New faces join the cast of this sequel: Goya Toledo (Veneno) as Annabelle, Gabriela Andrada (Heirs of Earth) as Sofia, Alex Bejar (Elite) as Briar, Javier Morgade (Desaparecidos) as Michael and Felipe Londono (Entrevías) as Lucas.
And what’s next?
Please note that the third film, À contre sens 3 (the original version of Culpa Nuestra) will be available soon and it will complete the adaptation of Mercedes Rohn’s literary trilogy of the same name.
Additionally, Against the Senses has been exported to the UK with a British remake titled Against the Senses: London and will be directed by two young British talents namely Asha Banks (Killing Instructions) and Matthew Broom (The Buccaneers). Production recently ended in the UK.
The story of Against the Sense: London will be more or less the same as it repeats the plot of the first book of the successful trilogy.
