With this in mind, a factory shop located in São Paulo started selling the item separately, the separate lid, and with this initiative attracted the attention of its customers. A video in which a consumer talks about the store’s uniqueness has already received more than 4 million views on Instagram alone.
The physical store is called Marilar and is located in the west of Sao Paulo, but it also sells online and via WhatsApp to serve customers in other cities and states. The prices of the lids vary between R$4.68 and R$18.15, depending on the size, material and model.
To find out the lid you need for your pot, the store recommends measuring it with a ruler along the edge from end to end. For online purchases, the individual lids contain a description of the measurements. The shop also sells pots with and without lids, baking trays, cups, stemware and other kitchen and tableware items, but selling the lids separately is what sets it apart.
