On Tuesday 31 December at Un si grand soleil…
Hugo and Florentine are inseparable
When she wakes up, Sabine finds the small living room table covered in dirt. She accuses Enzo of being responsible for all this trouble, but the culprits are none other than Hugo and Florentine. Two friends played on the console all night and forgot to clean it.
Before going to work, Sabine reminds Hugo and Florent that there is a barbecue at the Bakers’ house. The two men are not really waiting for this evening, but they still promise to attend the meeting.
A few minutes later, two men are cleaning up the dirt from the day before. Florent takes the opportunity to tell Hugo that it is time for him to find an apartment: “I have to grow up and Sabine is getting tired of it.” Hugo replies that he doesn’t mind and can spend his time looking for a place to live.
At the Gustave Flaubert high school, Sabine informs her colleague, Eva, that Florent still hasn’t left the nest. In addition, she confides in him that since Florent was there, with Hugo, their intimacy stopped. Eva calls out: “Tell Florent to go!”
At the police station, Ian offers to play basketball with Hugo in the evening, but the latter informs him that he has “work”. At the same time, Clement arrives and tells Hugo: “You won’t forget me tonight? 8pm! Because I know you, you’re always late.”
In the evening, Sabine, Enzo, Hugo and Florenti meet at Clementi’s for the famous barbecue. The latter presents his dish: beef ribs. He asks Hugo to take care of the cooking, which amuses Florent.
At the end of the dinner, Sabine tries to make Florent understand that she wants him to leave. He explains to her that this is exactly what he is going to do, and then thanks her. He claims that by welcoming him home he saved his life: “I was at the bottom of the hole and a laugh like that was good for me.” Sabine feels guilty for kicking him out.
Helen is in the eyes of the investigators
At the Montpellier police station, Helen has a meeting with Brigadier Borel. While at the office, she finds herself accused of obstructing a voluntary termination of pregnancy (abortion), but Helen promises that she never wanted to prevent Maeve from having an abortion.
She informs the crossing guard that she just helped Tom find out about the abortion : “It’s normal to know everything when you make this decision.” After questioning, Ellis is convinced that Helen is lying to him. He confides to his colleague: “We’ve already dealt with him, kidnapping for breach of trust.”
A few minutes later, Elise informs the director of the hospital that one of her employees has undoubtedly betrayed medical confidentiality: “I don’t understand how Elena would know about Maeva’s abortion plan.” He takes the opportunity to ask her for a list of personnel who may have met Helen, as well as the CCTV footage from that day.
Elise adds: “The risk if Ellen had access to Maeva’s file is that she could have access to a whole host of other files.” The director tries to believe this idea. He answers: “To me, there has to be another explanation, that’s for sure.”
At the same time, Helen is waiting for Tom outside the high school to ask him why he filed a complaint against him. Seeing him here, he said angrily: We have nothing to say to each other, I only hope for one thing: you will end up in prison! Helen explains to him that she considers him a son, but he doesn’t want to hear anything.
At the end of the day, Helen admits to the director of the association that she forgot to warn him about calling Elise Borrell. He is embarrassed to learn this, because if he had known earlier, he might have had a lawyer. However, he calms her down and explains that the police don’t know how they got the information.
