Shogun, obviously. The series that made Emmy Awards history — with 19 awards, a record for a single season — won again last night at the Golden Globes.
The new adaptation of James Cavell’s novel won no fewer than four awards, including best drama series and three acting awards.
On the comedies side, it was little-known French society Hacks that stood out, especially against The Bear (which still walked away with the Best Actor prize). In the mini-series, the Netflix series left the Menendez brothers empty-handed, unlike My Little Deer, which took home the top award in the category.
