Holder of three Contigo awards! and eight nominations, Fernanda Torres led the 13th edition of the award and reflected on the different roles of her career




Winner of the Golden Globe in the Best Actress in a Drama category, Fernanda Torres (59) has already stated that he treats all roles equally. He spoke about the challenges of his career in 2011, the year he hosted the 13th edition of Contigo! TV alongside the actor Luiz Fernando Guimarães (75).

The conversation took place when the artist duo presented the Best Soap Opera or Miniseries category. In a joking tone, Fernanda Torres teased her colleague: “Luiz is very good in Cordel Encantado, a beautiful telenovela. Nicholas [personagem do ator] is a butler, con man and lover of the Duchess, played by Deborah Bloch. You look great in the role of the scoundrel.

The actor then responded, mentioning the character of Fátima, played by the actress in the miniseries Slaps and kisses. “It’s much harder to play a scoundrel than a mature, abandoned young woman, sorry [risos]Torres responded, in good spirits, talking about the performance.Alright guys, I’m not afraid of cards, I face them [risos]. Over the years, Fernanda Torres has accumulated eight nominations for the awards promoted by Contigo!, of which she has taken home three victories. To win, Torres overcame strong competitors, competing with Nicole Kidmann (Girl), Angelina Jolie (Maria Callas), Kate Winslet (Lee), Tilda Swinton (The next room) AND Pamela Anderson (The ultimate showgirl). The last Brazilian success in the event dates back to 1999, when Central Brazilhero Fernanda Montenegro (95), won Best Foreign Language Film.
