The long-awaited second season of The last of us the release date has finally been revealed. Furthermore, a new teaser was presented showing several scenes of infected people in Seattle and the struggle of the protagonists in search of survival.
The new episodes must adapt the events of the second game in the series for PlayStation. Remembering that Max will also have to produce at least a third season of the series.
The new season of The last of us will arrive on HBO in April, but the exact date has not yet been announced by the broadcaster. The first part is available streaming on Max.
The official synopsis says that “after five years of peace following the events of season one, Joel (Pedro Pascal) and Ellie’s (Bella Ramsey) collective past catches up with them, bringing them into conflict with each other and an even more dangerous world. ” and unpredictable of what they left behind.
The new teaser also focuses on a new character. Abby, who will be played by actress Kaitlyn Dever, is a soldier seeking revenge who crosses the path of the protagonists, transforming them forever.
