Glaser’s performance was praised for setting the ideal tone for the ceremony; return proposal is already being considered by producers
After the Golden Globes 2025held on January 5th, producers are already considering bringing Nikki Glaser back as presenter for the next edition. In an interview with Varietyexecutive producer Glenn Weiss highlighted the comedian’s performance, which, according to him, “set the ideal tone” for the ceremony.
We had a great experience with her and think she would be an excellent long-term choice. I can’t confirm anything officially, but she found her place here. It was wonderful, and I would love to see it continue.

The producers also praised the comedian’s preparation: “Since November, she had been practicing material in comedy clubs, sometimes doing four or five shows a night,” revealed Weiss. “She really studied the event, understood the audience and delivered something in line with the spirit of the Golden Globes.”
Glaser’s presentation was a significant change from the tone of the previous edition, which faced criticism. According to Weiss, the goal of the Golden Globes is to keep the atmosphere light and fun, and Glaser captured that essence:
We don’t want it to be formal or rigid. It’s a celebration, and Nikki brought just that.
Although there is no official confirmation, it is believed that Glaser’s contract with Dick Clark Prods. and the CBS include a clause to return if successful, which makes his return in 2026 a real possibility (via Variety).
