Justified fans celebrated the news when FX announced that Timothy Olyphant’s Raylan Givens would be return from a long gestation for a new kind of mission with the limited series of continuation Justified: Primordial City . The new project is currently in production, but filming has been temporarily suspended due to a potentially dangerous situation involving a car shooting.
On the night of Wednesday, July 20, the occupants of two vehicles were reportedly involved in a shooting, with both cars crossing the barricades surrounding the film’s set, located near Douglass Park in Chicago. According to Term cast and crew members took cover and fell to the ground when the crash occurred, and it was noted that Timothy Olyphant was there at the time.
The shells were then found on the set, but fortunately no one was injured. It is unknown what happened to the drivers / shooters inside the vehicles and the report does not mention the quality in which the authorities are involved.
Justified: Primordial City close things on set all day Thursday, with production planning resuming on Monday 25 July. It seems that nothing too devastating happened on set in the aftermath of the accident, although it is obviously possible. We can expect a little more safety in this part of the plateau.
Emmy nominated Timothy Olyphant starred as US Marshal Raylan Givens for six acclaimed seasons on Justified, often the opposite of the specter of the always fabulous Walton Goggins as Boyd Crowder. Unfortunately, while it is possible that the character will make some sort of appearance in prison (barring a sudden release from the Great House), Goggins is not part of the cast. primitive city cast list, so it doesn’t look like Boyd will grace our TV speakers with his flourishing Alabama speaking skills.
