The Nerazzurri defeated their opponents with a score of 1-0
Inter visited Venezia this Sunday (12th) and achieved an important 1-0 victory at the Pierluigi Penzo stadium, in Venice, for the 20th round of the Italian Serie A.
The only goal of the match was scored by Matteo Darmian and occurred at the start of the match, important for the Nerazzurri to reach second place in the league, behind only Napoli.
Overall, Inter were not very creative, so much so that they relied on the post and goalkeeper Yann Sommer to leave Venezia with three points up for grabs.
Simone Inzaghi’s men reached 43 points, one less than the Azzurri. Furthermore, Inter, who have a game in hand, overcame Atalanta, who drew goalless with Udinese.
Venezia’s situation, however, is not good. The club is only in 19th place, with 14 points, and is five points behind Parma, the first club out of the red zone of the table. .
