The club awaits the representation of the athletes this Tuesday, at the Espaço Lonier; A new meeting will take place to conclude the questions of this Monday’s conversation
The players of the Botafogo team met virtually, this Monday (13th), with John Textor to discuss, as a priority, the payment of bonuses for winning the Libertadores title. The meeting did not take place in person, as the owner of SAF do Alvinegro is located in London, England. The information comes from the “ge” portal.
The club’s assessment of the conversation was positive, awaiting the re-presentation scheduled for Tuesday at Espaço Lonier. Also according to the publication, team officials expressed disagreement with the situation, as well as non-payment for contract terminations of teammates who recently left the club. The current team, however, has updated salaries.
With the threat of non-participation in the training, which occurred by a player remaining in the squad, Botafogo spoke out about the delays in the bonuses, claiming that the reason was the delay in the transfer of the prize between Conmebol and CBF.
The return of the athletes is scheduled for this Tuesday in the early afternoon (2pm), but the team has not confirmed their participation in training. However, a new meeting to discuss the issues raised in this Monday’s virtual conversation is acceptable.
