The ‘Brooklyn Nine-nine’ star takes us back to the very moment of what was happening to Joe in the early days of the zombie apocalypse.
‘Tales of the Walking Dead’, the new series derived from ‘The Walking Dead’ in the form of individual chapters will have one starring Terry Crews from ‘Brooklyn Nine-Nine’ as Joe. Thanks to the San Diego Comic-Con (where we have also seen the first trailer for season 11 Part 3 of ‘The Walking Dead’, information about the Alpha chapter or the news of the Rick and Michonne miniseries) has just presented its first trailer, and with an important twist.
The trailer for the series shows multiple stories unfolding at the same time as the zombie virus took hold. And so it looks like we’ll be seeing more of the zombie apocalypse. The trailer shows a bodybuilding Joe in the gym and then says, “No one believed this could happen. No one believes bad things will happen,” as he sits in protective gear.
As the trailer unfolds, we see horrific shots of zombies and blood spatter as Jessie Usher’s character Devon says, “I’m starting to think that if you’re going to choose yourself over everyone else, you need to make sure it’s worth it.” worth saving your life.” He can later be heard shouting as he is held back, “We decide who we are. Created by former ‘TWD’ showrunner Scott M Gimple and Channing Powell, ‘Tales of the Walking Dead’ also stars ‘X-Men: Apocalypse’s Olivia Munn as Evie. It also brings us back to the character of OG Dee, known as Alpha (Samantha Morton), the leader of the Whisperers introduced in the ninth season of ‘The Walking Dead’.
As for the timeline, it looks like the spinoff will be set at different stages of the apocalypse, and even before it. The Tales cast also includes Daniella Pineda from ‘Jurassic World,’ Anthony Edwards from ‘ER,’ and Embeth Davidtz from ‘Matilda,’ as well as Poppy Liu, Danny Ramirez, and Jessie T-Usher, among others.
‘Tales of the Walking Dead’ premieres on AMC in the US on August 14 but still has no confirmed date or platform in Spain.
