Home of the director, who died at age 78, would have entered the mandatory evacuation route due to recent fires in Los Angeles less than 10 days ago

David Lynchlegendary film director whose death was announced this Thursday, 16, at the age of 78, would have been one of the personalities evacuated from their homes in Los Angeles due to the fires that hit California this January.
The information is from the website MovieWeb (via MSN), who found that the director’s residence entered the mandatory evacuation route on January 8th.
According to the report, the producer Sabrina Sutherlandwho had worked with Lynch since 2006, reportedly said via Reddit that the director would be “fine and safe” at that point. The cause of David Lynch’s death has not been revealed.

David Lynch dies

Known for his dark and surrealist films and series, David Lynch had his death announced this Thursday (16). In 2024, he revealed that he had been diagnosed with emphysema from his lifelong smoking – so much so that he could no longer leave the house to drive.
“There’s a big hole in the world now that he’s no longer with us. But as he would say, ‘Keep your eye on the donut and not the hole,'” the relatives lamented. He leaves two daughters, two sons and his wife, Emily Stofle.
