Un Si Grand Soleil Preview: Episode Summary for Friday 17 January 2025 [SPOILERS]

Warning, the following paragraphs contain spoilers for the episode of Un Si Grand Soleil airing tomorrow night on France 3! If you don’t want to understand anything, don’t read the following!

Friday January 17th at Un si grand soleil…

Tom, Maeve and Vigil leave Montpellier

Early in the morning, Alix joins Virgil at the marina. The latter then informs him that he will be leaving that afternoon as he does not want to endanger her. If he took the risk of coming to see her, the fugitive claims that he has no regrets. Alix and Virgil kiss goodbye one last time.

With a heavy heart, Virgil joins Tom on the boat and announces his departure. A heavy blow to a teenager who worries about what he will become. So Virgil indicates that he has found a hiding place for her and that Alix will take care of her. Tom begs her not to quit and then asks him to take her. Although Virgil explains to him that life on the run is hell, Tom persists and wins his case.

After a while Tom calls Maeve. Unaware that he is being listened to, the young man informs him that he is going to leave with Virgil. A panicked young woman says she can’t leave him like this, but Tom realizes that avoiding prison is the best option. After refusing to get off the phone, Maeve asks her to wait, but Tom tells her he loves her before hanging up. Crying, Maeva hastily leaves the gallery.

In turn, Alice calls Ian to warn him that Maeve is going to join Tom. Since he’s not too far from the gallery, Ian finally finds Maeve’s trail. However, he manages to lose it in the park.

Ian then contacts Commissioner Becker to inform him that Maeva has escaped. So the commissioner immediately informed the border police while Ian continued to search the surrounding area.

Not far from there, Maeva joins Tom with Marina and wraps her arms around him. Panicking at the thought of the police coming, Virgil asks Tom to say goodbye immediately, but Maeve asks him to go with them. Although the two men refuse because it’s too dangerous, Maeva explains that she’s in their position now because the police are looking for her as well. Before Tommy vows to return, Maeve replies that she has made up her mind and wants to go with him. While he tries to figure out if he’s sure about his choice, Maeva assures us that he is. After they kiss, they board a boat and then head off to new adventures far from Montpellier.

Cecil finds out that his son has lied to him

Convinced that her son is hiding something from her, Cecily does everything she can to spend time with him. After dinner at the restaurant, the judge organized an evening at the bowling alley. Faced with her sister’s poor methods, Margot advises her to leave her alone, but to no avail.

For his part, Hugo advises Florent to change his mind, as Cécile is not ready for commitment. However, Florenti refuses because he really likes Cecile and he really wants to go on a long journey with her. Although this is not possible at the moment due to his son’s problems, Florenti is happy with the hours he is given and he lives very well.

Meanwhile, Achilles tells Charlotte that her mother threw another party to get the worms out of her. The teenager then advises him to tell the truth. in vain Just then, the young man calls his mother to cancel their night out, confiding that he has to help Tom with his math class.

Cécile then calls Florent and leaves a message on his answering machine to ask if he is free tonight. Later they meet at a hotel. After an intimate moment, Cecile reveals to Florent that her son canceled their night out to help Tom with his math homework. Florenti smiles and tells him that Achille couldn’t spend the evening with Tom because the latter is wanted by the police for murder. Panicked, Cecil rushes off the stage and calls Achilles. Reaching his answering machine, he asks her to come home as soon as he gets the message.

When he finally returns, Cecil demands to know where he’s been. Of course, the teenager replies that he was with Tom, but Cecil tells him that’s impossible because the police are looking for the teenager. He asks again where he’s been, but Achille lies to his mother once more before locking himself in his room.
