The event was originally scheduled for January 6 but was postponed due to fires raging in Los Angeles.
The actress is involved in an international campaign to promote the film, whose story she tells Eunice Paiva (1929-2018), woman who raised her five children and became a human rights lawyer after her husband’s disappearance and murder, Rubens Paiva (1929 – 1971), during the Brazilian military dictatorship.
With the role, Fernanda won the award in an unprecedented category for Brazil at the Golden Globes and raises expectations about the possible nominations for the Oscar, the list of which is expected to be published in the coming days.
