Marvel announces its phase 5 with “Daredevil” and “Thunderbolts”

In his long-awaited appearance at Comic-Con International in San Diego, Marvel Studios boss Kevin Feige wasted no time making big revelations.

In an announcement accompanied by audiovisual reinforcements, Feige named this Saturday (7/23) all the films and series that will make up Phase 5 of the studio, accompanied by their preview forecasts.

The current Phase 4 officially ends with “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever”, which is scheduled for release in November.

“Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania” begins Phase 5 in February 2023, followed by “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3” in May, “The Marvels” in July and “Blade” in November.

In parallel, Disney + will release “Secret Invasion” in spring (our fall) 2023, followed by season 2 of “Loki” and “Echo” (Echo) in the summer (our winter), “Iron Heart” (Ironheart) in the fall ( our spring) and “Agatha: Coven of Chaos” in winter (our summer).

Phase 5 continues into 2024 with the release of “Captain America: New World Order” in May, a new Daredevil series with the iconic title, “Daredevil: Born Again” (named after a famous story arc written by Frank Miller and released in Brazil as “The Fall of Murdock”) and, closing the list, the movie Thunderbolts in July.

It’s official: “Phase five will culminate with this,” said Feige of the Thunderbolts.
