Wall Street’s main indexes opened higher on Friday, with the S&P 500 and Dow Jones on track to post their biggest weekly gains since November as investors anticipate a wave of political changes with Donald Trump’s return to the White House.
The Dow Jones gained 0.37% at the opening to 43,312.55 points.
The S&P 500 opened up 0.98%, to 5,995.4 points, while the Nasdaq Composite advanced 1.64%, to 19,655.54 points at the open.
