Ricardo Arjona presents “Seco”, his highly anticipated new album

After months of waiting and some progress, Ricardo Arjona finally presents “Seco”, his long-awaited new album.

A record that includes 12 original songsrecorded in various cities around the world such as London, Stockholm, Nashville, Los Angeles, Miami and Guatemala.

But the surprise doesn’t stop there. In addition to the album, Arjona presents the music video for “Mujer”one of the most memorable songs on the album. This clip, which promises to be one of the most special of his career, is directed by the artist himself and with the participation of his daughter, Adria Arjona.

The video recording took place in one of the most emblematic streets of Mexico City, with the participation of more than 30 actors and extras. More than 90 people were part of the film crew, using cutting-edge technology, such as the Phantom camera, capable of recording at more than 500 frames per second, and the Arri Trinity system to achieve impressive special effects.

Ricardo Arjona was very proud of his daughter’s work in the video, highlighting her ability to interpret three fundamental stages of the character: shyness, empowerment and, finally, transformation into a strong and determined woman.

The song “Mujer” has a deep emotional charge for Arjona. As he explained, his inspirations for writing it were important people in his life, such as his mother, his grandmother, his aunts, his sisters, his partner and, of course, his daughter.
