The new Captain America 4 has revealed its title, visuals and release date at San Diego Comic-Con!
After Chris Evans in Captain America, it’s Anthony Mackie’s turn to wear the famous superhero costume! Billed as Sam Wilson in the MCU films, the latter included his series, Falcon and the Winter Soldier.
We already knew that the new Cap would have the rights to a feature film in theaters, but we didn’t know its release date or its title yet!
This has already been done since Kevin Feige, the big boss of Marvel Studios, announced it as part of Comic Con in San Diego.
After Civil War, which was released in 2016, the 4th episode of the superhero adventure with the star shield will be called Captain America: The New World Order. (new world order)
It will be released in theaters on May 3, 2024 in the United States (May 1 in France). Marvel also took advantage of their panel to release the first visuals, which you can admire above.
The Anthony Mackie-helmed feature film will be directed by Julius Ona, to whom we owe The Cloverfield Paradox.
Recall that the actor has been playing the winged superhero friend of Sam Wilson, alias Falcon, Steve Rogers (Chris Evans), since Captain America, The Winter Soldier in 2014.
But at the end of the Disney+ series Falcon and the Winter Soldier, Sam Wilson takes up Steve Rogers’ shield and agrees to be the new Captain America after much hesitation.
The screenplay will be written by Malcolm Spellman and Dalan Musson, who work on the series Falcon and Winter Soldier.
