The first day of events scheduled for the inauguration of the president also began this Saturday. The Republican will take the oath of office on Monday the 20th at 2pm (Brasilia time) in front of the Capitol.
In total, there are four days of celebration that will mark the inauguration of the new American president. The program begins with Trump’s visit to his golf course in Virginia, where a ceremony will take place followed by a fireworks display.
Also this Saturday, the president-elect and his deputy, JD Vance, will welcome members of the new government with a welcome dinner. There will be at least 18 inauguration-related galas in Washington between this weekend and Monday.
