Speaking in a recent interview with Chris Van Vleet, WWE star Seth Rollins confirmed various rumors that had been circulating about his role in the upcoming and highly anticipated Captain America: Brave New World being scrapped for the final installment.
“It comes out in February. I wish him the best, but I’m not part of this threadMRollins said (via ComingSoon). “To be honest, any answer I give will only be my opinion on the matter. The script went through many rewrites and reshoots, so essentially my role was either reused or deleted entirely.“
However, Seth Rollins insisted that Marvel Studios did their best to keep him in the film while editing was done, and brought him back for another role. However, in the end, they could not find another place for him in the feature film.
“I don’t know exactly what it was about, but they went in a different direction“- he added. “Yes, as I understand it, there was a lot of rewriting and lots of it New shotsAnd they know they have a finished product that they hope they’ll be happy with and it’s going to be successful, but it’s going to be without Seth Rollins.“

Captain America: Brave New World By Julius Ona, Anthony Mackie as Sam Wilson/Captain America, Danny Ramirez as Joaquin Torres/The Falcon, and Harrison Ford as Thaddeus “Thunderbolt”, also known as the Red Hulk. The character of Ross was previously played by William Hurt in the MCU. However, the latter died in March 2022.
The cast also includes Carl Lumble as Isaiah Bradley, Giancarlo Esposito as Seth Voelker/Sidwinder, and Liv Tyler and Tim Blake Nelson reprising their roles as Betty Ross and Samuel Stearns/Leader.
