The Permanent Exhibition of Italian Cinema brings 43 free films


The tenth edition takes place in Sao Paulo between February and December

The Permanent Exhibition of Italian Cinema celebrates its 10th edition with 43 films by 25 of the most important directors of the Bel Paese.

With free admission, the event will take place in Sao Paulo at the Cine-Teatro Denoy de Oliveira from February 3rd to December 1st.

Every Monday the public will be able to watch fiction such as “The Monster of the Front Page”, by Marco Bellocchi, “The Desert of the Tartars”, by Valerio Zurlini, and “The Conformist”, by Bernardo Bertolucci.

Also on the program are comedies, such as “Tudo Certo, mas Nada em Ordem”, by Lina Wertmüller, love stories, such as “Amargo Despertor”, by Vittorio de Sica, as well as musicals, detective stories, adventures and other genres.

An additional session will be offered on Saturday, March 15.

Organized by the Popular Culture Center of the Municipal Union of Secondary Students of São Paulo (Umes), the Permanent Exhibition of Italian Cinema “is an initiative to honor and spread one of the most important cinemas in the world”.

“Unfortunately, today Italian cinema is no longer very accessible through other means, such as streaming services or even in the programming of other cinema spaces, rich in works from the dominant American industry”, we read in a statement published on the Umes website , where the programming completes. .
