CinemaJames Gunn reveals he is already working on his next DC project

Responsible for the new phase of the franchise, the director is combining new work with the post-production of Superman, scheduled for July this year

james gunn (Guardians of the Galaxy: Volume 3) doesn’t stop and, while he’s working on post-production Supermanthe first feature in the new DC Cinematic Universe, is also working on a new project for the franchise.

“The bulk of my time is dealing with the post-production of Superman and [a segunda temporada de] Peacemakerbut I’ve also already spent a good chunk of my time pre-writing my next DC Studios project.”explained in a post on Threads.

Gunn He also stated that, in his daily life, he also participates in meetings and helps with ideas for other projects, but assured: “It’s less heavy than when I was driving”said the boss of the new DC.

What we already know about Superman?

Superman will accompany Superman/Clark Kent in the quest to reconcile Kryptonian heritage with human creation. The production will star David Corenswet (Pearl, Hollywood) as the superhero and Rachel Brosnahan (The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel) as the reporter Lois Lanelove interest of the protagonist.

In addition to Corenswet and Brosnahan, Superman still has Nicholas Hoult (The Great), Nathan Fillion (The Suicide Squad), Isabella Merced (Madame Teia), Edi Gathegi (Dusk), Anthony Carrigan (Barry), Skyler Gisondo (Out of Series), Maria Gabriela de Faría (Isa TKM), Alan Tudyk (Rogue One: A Star Wars Story) and the model Sara Sampaio in the cast.
