On Thursday 23 January a more beautiful life, even more beautiful…
Mirta was in an awkward situation
After her first night of love with her new partner, Robert, Mirta has only one thing in mind: starting over. He calls Jules’ grandfather and informs him that he has booked a hotel room for this afternoon.
At the same time, Steve arrives to ask her for help, but she is more busy texting Robert. Not too focused on his job, he gets the wrong recipient and sends an evil message to… Jules.
Later that day, Myrtle explains to Jules that she sent him this message by mistake. She convinces him that she is taking cooking lessons with Robert: “Now we’re on the subject of chili, hence my message.”
Once alone with Steve, Jules shows him the famous text: “I look forward to our fiery reunion”Which was followed by a whole bunch of annoying emoticons. The two young men are both worried and amused by the situation.
In the hotel room, Mirta and Robert are cuddling in bed. Mirta takes the opportunity to tell her partner about the mistake of the morning. She is convinced that Jules knew her lie, unlike Robert, who is convinced that his grandson understood everything.
Leah is undergoing chemotherapy
At the Mistral police station, Jean-Paul (Stephane Hannon) asks Ariane if he could change her because he wants her to accompany Lea on her first date. Zoe’s mother accepts without the slightest hesitation.
Jean-Paul takes the opportunity to confide in his colleague that the situation is difficult to manage: “Leah amazes me, but I’m very afraid that the doctor is telling us that there is no cure.” and wept in Ariadne’s arms.
Later, Jean-Paul and Lea will face the doctor. The latter confirms Leah’s illness, but reassures her that it is a non-aggressive tumor that has been developing inside her for several years.
However, there is bad news: the tumor is mixed with the brain, making surgery impossible. Therefore, Leah will have to undergo chemotherapy. The doctor adds: “For brain cancer, the younger you are, the better your chances of survival.” So given Leah’s age, is that a good thing or a bad thing?
When leaving the office, Jean-Paul noticed that Leah was not comforted by the doctor. She confides in her husband: “I was hoping that if they could remove the tumor, it would be less easy to hide it.”
Jean-Paul realizes that his wife is still determined to hide her illness from the family. He tries to force him to change his actions, but Leah reminds him of an important element: “It’s my illness, so it’s up to me.”
Morgan leads a double life
After being bitten by the so-called “deadly” scorpion, Idris was rescued by Morgan. A young woman takes him away from this dangerous place on a motorcycle. He calms the young man down, explaining that it’s a harmless poison and that Mikaela just wanted to test them.
The head of the IGPN met with Morgan at the Mistral police station. Unfortunately, the brigadier is missing, which does not speak in his favor. In order to protect his colleague, Patrick informs his boss that Morgan has come down with whooping cough and will not recover for a few days.
After the head of the IGPN leaves, Patrick tells Ariane that Idris and Morgan are together, safe and sound. However, he is outraged by Morgan’s behavior and exclaims: They better have a concrete explanation.
Hours later, at the hotel, Morgan tracks down Idris. Suddenly Patrick appears and lectures the young woman: “Stay in touch with your elders, that’s the bottom line!” You are doing something stupid! You lie, steal, disobey.”
Idris Zerual defends Morgan and explains to Patrick that he saved her life. The Brigadier apologizes to the Chief and reminds him that he knows what he’s doing. Idris adds that he needs her. Finally, Patrick gets the green light for the infiltration mission.
Later, Morgan calls Jules to reassure him and lies that he is at his grandmother’s bedside. Idris immediately takes the phone and says: “I’m your boy! No more Morgan Tang, no more boyfriends, no more family photos, it’s all over.”
Morgan apologizes to Idris and promises to focus on his new identity. Later, Morgan and Idris walk hand in hand through the streets of Marseille. Idris takes the opportunity to reveal to an accomplice that his best friend, Freddie, died of a gunshot wound to the head during an infiltration mission.
Suddenly, Idris receives a message from Mikaela to see them. They find him and everything goes very well. Michaela agrees to have Morgan join the movement, then arranges for them to meet tomorrow at nine at the warehouse.
Once alone, Mikaela discovers another woman, perhaps another road boss. He said to him: “I can’t feel them both. There’s something that doesn’t add up.” However, the two women agree to work with Idris and Morgan, but once the mission is over, they kill them…
