Indonesia and India have signed several agreements this Saturday involving the sectors of culture, health, maritime, security and digital.
The signing ceremony was attended by the Indonesian President Prabowo Subclanto and the Indian Prime Minister Narendra ways in view of the celebrations of the Indian Republic Day which will be celebrated on Sunday.
President Prabowo said that his government will speed up the economic partnership with India and will give priority to long -term cooperation.
“We discussed many key sectors of common interest, in which we would like to accelerate the level of cooperation,” Prabowo said in a press conference after the signature ceremony.
Prabowo also thanked India for his support for Indonesia during the trial to become a member of the Brics, stating that the blocking of emerging economies “will be advantageous for global stability and regional cooperation”.
Speaking before the comments of Prabowo, ways he said that both countries will work together in the defense sector and in the improvement of the supply chains.
“We also decided to cooperate on issues such as maritime security, computer security, anti -terrorism and deraddicalization,” said ways.
