A five -year -old girl had a serious accident on Sunday evening (2) in a gym located in the center of Sapiranga, in Vale Do Sinos. The child had four fingers sprayed after holding his hand on the equipment known as the elliptical scale, also called stairs simulator.
The Department of Fire Brigade Rio Grande do Sul (CBMRS) was called for rescue. According to the company, it was necessary to open part of the machine structure to be able to remove the child’s hand, which was trapped in the equipment. However, no more details have been disclosed on the circumstances of the accident.
After the rescue, the girl received care at the Sapiranga hospital and was then transferred to the Canoas Emergency Hospital (HPS). Subsequently, during Monday’s dawn (3), the child was sent to the HPS of Porto Alegre, where he was admitted in the pediatric department. According to the institution’s information, his health is stable.
