The Netherlands have sent a request for extradition to the Sierra Leone authorities to the criminal convicted of drug trafficking Jos Lejdekkers, said Dutch Minister of Justice David Van Weel in his account x Thursday.
“I hope a quick action by the Sierra Leone authorities and that they are on our side in this fight against international organized crime,” said Van Weel.
One of the most sought after fugitives in Europe, the smuggler of cocaine Jos Lejdekkers, found high -level refuge and protection in Sierra Leone, according to three sources with direct knowledge of the topic, as well as photos and videos seen by Reuters.
The Ministry of Information of Sierra Leone declared at the end of last month that he was investigating the media relationships that Leijdekkers was in the country and benefited from high -level protection.
