Season 3 of ‘Succession’ ended with a big betrayal– The three Roy brothers eventually team up to try to stop Logan from selling the company to a wealthy tech guru, though Unfortunately, they discovered that they had fallen feet into their trap. It wasn’t just that Caroline joined her cause to take down the absolute majority of the three brothers: also Shiv’s husband, Tom, and the companion-friend-? by Roman, Gerri sided with Logan to make sure the trio had nothing.
What a great way to open a season 4.
So what can we expect from the fourth installment of episodes? Well, even the cast apparently is yet to find out, and filming won’t start for a few months. However, that for asking does not remain: Variety asked the group of ‘Succession’ actors who walked the red carpet at the Screen Actors Guild Awards American this Sunday February 27th, and got them to share some inside information on where things are going…
Apparently, Marcia Roy is going to die, and live, and take control of everything, the actress joked Hiam Abbass…Less jokes, despite the mystery that surrounds her, we would love to see her advance to the narrative foreground. However, whatever happens in season 4, Jeremy Strong advanced: “I’m sure it will be a new hell, nothing more”while Brian Cox added: “It will be a great hell, yes, new”.
Notable absences from the group were the actress behind Shiv, Sarah Snookand the actor who gives life Tom, matthew macfadyen. The latter is filming a new series together with his wife Keely Hawes.
We will have to wait until 2023 to find out more about the real twists of the next turn of episodes, something more than we had anticipated at the end of the successful third season. In an interview with the magazine GQ UKactor Brian Cox confessed the reason for the wait: “I think the writers will be back in January. I was surprised because I thought they’d be back in November. But I do think they need a break. I mean, I think they need space, because they’ve been working so hard on this show.”
Let us remember that the third season ended with the plot of the three brothers towards the patriarch Roy, deflated and sabotaged by his poor eyesight, his arrogance and, above all, his stupidity.
