The Academy of Cinematographic Arts and Sciences has announced new names that will be among the presenters of the 97th edition of Oscar. Are confirmed Halle Berry, Scarlett Johansson, Bowen Yang, Penelope Cruz, Elle Fanning, Whoopi Goldberg, John Lithgow, Amy Poehler and June Squibb to present categories during the event.
They will join the Oscar 2024 winners, who had already been announced as presenters: Emma Stone (Best actress per Poor creatures), Cillian Murphy (Best actor for OPPENHEIMER), Da’Vine Joy Randolph (Best Supporting Actress for The rejected) and Robert Downey Jr. (Best supporting actor for OPPENHEIMER).

The ceremony will be presented by the comedian Conan O’Brien and will happen in Dolby Theaterin Los Angeles, on the day March 2, 2025from 21h (Brasília time).

Transmission in Brazil
THE TV Globo confirmed that it will transmit the Oscar 2025 to the whole of Brazil, except for the Rio de Janeirowhere the carnival samba schools will follow normally. In the rest of the country, the Oscar will have priority in the programming, and the parades will be displayed after the ceremony ended. The transmission will be conducted by Maria Beltrão.
In Rio de Janeiro, the Globe will convey both Oscar and live parades. After the ceremony, the station will display the presentations that have already occurred in the Sapucaí.
In addition to TV Globo, the ceremony will be broadcast on TNT (Closed TV) and on the streaming platform Max.
