Netflix has released the poster and trailer for the comedy Me Time, which brings together actors Kevin Hart (“Jumanji: The Next Level”) and Mark Wahlberg (“Double Dad”) for the first time. The preview is full of physical jokes, with all kinds of violence happening to Hart’s character, who incredibly survives everything, almost like a live-action version of Coyote from the Roadrunner cartoons.

The plot revolves around a family man (Hart) who for the first time in years has free time to do whatever he wants, while his wife and children travel. He then decides to reconnect with his old best friend (Wahlberg) for a wild weekend, but the experience turns out to be more extreme than he expected.

The film is directed by John Hamburg (“I Love You, Man”), who previously worked with Hart as a screenwriter for the hit “Operation Supplementary: Now Go!” (Night school). He also writes the screenplay and co-produces “Family Vacation” with Hart.

The release is part of a deal signed between Hart’s production company HartBeat Procution and Netflix to produce four full-length films from the actor, whose stage films have grossed over $ 4 billion at the worldwide box office.

The premiere is scheduled for August 26th.
