The United States government believes that assistance to Ukraine did not contribute to a peaceful solution, says the source of the White House.
The White House confirmed on Monday (03/03) that the United States will pause military aid in Ukraine, who is at war for three years after the invasion of Russia.
“The president clarified that he is concentrated on peace. We need our partners to be engaged in this goal. We are making a break and reviewing our help to ensure that he is contributing to a solution”, a source of the White House of the CBS, partner of the BBC in the United States.
According to the Bloomberg portal, the first to report the suspension, all the US military equipment that are not in Ukraine would be inaccessible, such as transit weapons and kept in deposits in Poland.
Previously, Trump criticized Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky for saying that the end of the war with Russia is “distant, distant”.

The President of the United States opposed by telling Zelensky that he should not have told the Americans how to feel, because “he was unable to underline”
Trump then threatened: “either make an agreement or we are out”
Zelensky was therefore recommended to leave the White House and a press conference that had been planned was canceled, as well as the mineral agreement.
